Jordan is a Chattanooga, Tennessee native but is a Texas girl through and through. She relocated to the Austin area when she was only 7 years old and has called Texas home ever since. She's a graduate of Sam Houston State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications in 2021  and Texas Tech University with a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications.

 

During her time at Sam Houston, she always prioritized serving the communities of marginalized students and creating a place where civic engagement is encouraged and celebrated. She tunneled her advocacy as Student Body President, the Executive Director of 'Diversity Council', and a member of the Theta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Also while at Sam Houston, Jordan won two NDA Collegiate National championship titles with the Orange Pride Dance Team.

Jordan now has a career as a digital strategist for non-profit organizations and is the owner and founder of JorDance Choreo. It's Jordan's mission to inspire young people to achieve their dreams and empower them to be active citizens, leaders, and voters. She hopes that Generation Z feels empowered to utilize the resources around them in order to make an impact in their community and continues to empower and mentor young people through social media and speaking engagements at schools and community events.
