Hello 2020

First of all, let me say that I am soooo excited for 2020! Instead of being cliche with the whole “New Year, New Me”, I’m going into to 2020 with the mantra: New Year, New Mentality! 2020 isn’t only the start of a new year, but the start of a new decade. I am going into the decade as a 21 year old college student and will be 31 by the end of it.

There are so many things I want to accomplish in the next year and the next ten years! Here’s how I’m gonna make it happen:

In February I will be competing in my first real pageant under the Miss America Organization. The only pageant I’ve competed in was a Juneteenth pageant when I was 11 years old. I did win, but that was still 10 years ago. If I win the title of Miss Sam Houston I will then go on to compete in Miss Texas in the summer.

Another huge goal of 2020 is building my brand! I will be building my brand through my social media accounts, my new and improved website, and my business ventures. My new website, JordanJohnsonMedia.com is now launched! On my website you can find my blog, podcasts, and links to my youtube videos. In 2019, I had the opportunity to travel to a lot of new places for the first time. In 2020, I’m trying to double or even triple it! I still haven’t been out of the country, so that is definitely on the list for 2020. The top destinations on my 2020 travel bucket list is to go on a tour of Europe, a Caribbean birthday cruise, and hopefully a study abroad trip to Dubai just to name a few.

As far as the decade goes, I plan on graduating with my Bachelors degree in 2021 then pursuing a Masters degree and maybe even a PhD. In the next ten years I plan on getting married, starting a family, and creating generational wealth.

Of course there are so many more goals I want to accomplish in the new year and in the new decade but you will have to find out in due time. 2020 is a whole different ball park and like I said, I’m going in with a whole new mentality. I’m ready to grind and shine all 2020 and I am so excited to document my journey!
